Ed Tech Professional Development is at the core of CUE's work. We are passionate believers in advancing student achievement through educational technology. By providing Ed Tech professional development to schools, districts, and local educators on the infusion of emerging technologies, we can help better prepare students for college and careers ahead.
For over 30 years, CUE has provided leadership through high quality educational technology professional development, legislative advocacy, publications, professional collaboration, and by producing California's premier educational technology conferences. Forward-thinking educators are connected through CUE activities, networks and resources, and in many cases are at the forefront of the innovation sweeping across classrooms, universities and beyond.
As we evolved from "computers in the classroom" to the broader application of innovation in education, CUE was there, working with educators to shape policy and leverage technology to improve education. As the pace of change continues to accelerate, CUE now works with educators and administrators to ensure the community is ready to lead, grow and flourish with technology that can inspire students, librarians, teachers, IT directors and administrators for decades to come. Get involved by attending a CUE professional development event, contacting your legislators, and by joining the organization. Extend your involvement by applying to speak at one of our events, writing an article for consideration in OnCUE, joining a Learning Network, retweeting, commenting on or 'liking' a CUE post, volunteering for an affiliate, or serving on a committee. From there, the possibilities for professional growth take off exponentially. Every educator can be a lifelong learner, and CUE helps in this mission. Students benefit tremendously when educators include technology as an integrated part of their learning.
Bringing together regular features on professional development, educational app reviews, the best of ideas of the top thought leaders in educational technology + more, our OnCUE+ app merges the best of our print journal with engaging media enhancements. It's available is FREE, and current CUE members get free downloads of issues. So join or renew your membership!
