Join CUE and find out how you can advance student achievement through technology.
Unless you're under a rock, you've probably heard that the Feds have made a significant chunk of money available to school districts through the ARRA stimulus program. The way this flows out to those districts in California is through the EETT funding structure, and for grades 4-8 only. The official info, including eligibility requirements can be found here: ARRA Title II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology (Competitive).
For our Nevada members, funding information is available on the grants page of the NDE site.
I wanted to take this moment to let you know that CUE stands ready to offer our support to quality applications focusing on student achievement. If you are interested in having a letter demonstrating our support, please send me an email to me in the next week and I'll get you the letter by Oct. 1. After Oct. 1, if you seek CUE support, you'll need to connect with Marisol Valles, CUE's Director of Operations, as I'll be on vacation. You may reach her at mvalles@cue.org .
When developing the grant application, please remember to consider all of the services that CUE can offer you, not merely the annual conference. Here are some of the most common ways that districts have found to include CUE as a valuable partner in the past:
I'm happy to discuss any possible partnerships - feel free to drop me a line!
Thanks!
