![]() Perry Reeves President & CEO, IETA (International Education Technology Associates) Mission Viejo, CA Member Nominated | Perry Reeves provides more than 35 years of experience in computer and communications, technology for the K-16 education market. He has trained more than 500,000 educators, students and textbook publishers worldwide in the use of multimedia hardware and software using Laser Disc, DVD, CD-ROM, Internet and Laser Barcode technologies. He retired from Pioneer Electronics as Director of Higher Education and K-12 marketing worldwide for 16 years. Perry also served as National Sales Manager for Sony Corporation of America, and 3M Company. The IICS International Interactive Communications Society named him the International Multimedia Person of the Year in 1989. He has served as the Technical Advisor and on the Board of Directors of the National Association for Gifted Children. Over 25 years ago one of CUE’s founding fathers, LeRoy Finkel took Perry into his inter circle in the early days of educational computing. He has been a sponsor, keynote presenter; workshop presenter at most CUE’s affiliates monthly and annual meetings as well as the annual Northern and Southern California Conference. He is a recipient of a CUE Gold Disk Award in 1989 and a CUE Platinum Disk Award in 1994. Perry Reeves and Pioneer sponsored the “Multimedia Laser Disc Extravaganza” for several years with more than 50 companies participating. As a CUE Board member I will work to achieve the following goals:
