I am running for re-election to the Computer-Using Educators Board of Directors. I want to continue supporting CUE’s vision to be the leader and invaluable resource in the advancement of student achievement through technology. Our membership is increasing and our presence in the educational community is expanding.
 
As a board member I bring my experience as a teacher, curriculum technology coach and educational technology leader.  I have taught at the elementary level, at a dual immersion school and for the University of San Diego. Since 1997, as a coach, I have worked in classrooms with K-12 teachers to develop technology enhanced lessons that support student learning.

In 1997, after years of attending CUE conferences, a group of local members realized we wanted to meet locally. We started the affiliate Wine Country CUE. I have served as the president and treasurer of our affiliate and continue to present at our local mini-conferences. I am committed to strengthening the relationship between our affiliates and the Board.

I have also served as a CUE member on the Conference Regional Planning Committee, Communications Committee and most recently as the board liaison to the Strategic Partnership Committee, a new committee composed of educational, nonprofit and corporate leaders.

That's what CUE is all about- meeting new people, learning new things, and staying in contact and networking with friends and colleagues, all to the benefit of our students.

I would like to continue serving on the CUE board and represent you, the educator and affiliate member and welcome your support.
