During my many years as an educator, I believe that the one new skill that will benefit our students in the 21st Century is the ability to use technology to further their skills. One of the ways I foresee this happening is through CUE. Focusing on gaining new members and finding new ways to promote our organization so that more teachers and students are able to benefit from learning the latest technologies would be a primary goal of mine.  This can be accomplished by focusing on the teachers and students in each of the affiliates. Developing and promoting ways to reach our members and their students should be our primary concern and if elected, this would be a primary focus.  Looking for different ways to incorporate technology through Math, Science, ELL, and English and  helping teachers see ways that technology can benefit them and their students will help to strengthen CUE. Being a part of this endeavor and having the opportunity to work for teachers would be an honor.
