Jane Krauss

Learn how the refreshed ISTE National Education Technology Standards for Students address new contexts for learning and help educators prepare their students for an increasingly complex and digital world. Examine the refreshed NETS*S and learn how to use them to cultivate technical and information literacy, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and innovation in today’s students. Explore Web 2.0 and other digital tools and plan how to capitalize on their essential learning functions to enhance teaching and learning. Finally, examine how teacher capabilities must shift in the digital era, and the implications for professional learning and practice. We encourage you to bring your own laptop; wireless connection will be available.

Presented in partnership with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
