March of the Penguins: The Continued Movement of Open Source in Education
David Thornburg 2258 - Open Source

As this trend continues we are seeing advances of the open source concept in other areas of education as well. This dynamic presentation provides a current update of the growth of open source tools for education, and looks at other education-related open source projects, including courses for credit, textbooks, and even hardware. The gathering momentum of this surge will soon sweep across K-12 with great force to the delight of those who are prepared, and to the dismay of others.
