- Act now to SAVE EETT -

As you all know, the President's proposed Federal 2006 budget eliminates all funding for the Enhancing Education Through Technology Act, originally funded as a part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. The California State Assembly and Senate have recently passed Senate Joint Resolution 8 (SJR-8), explaining the impact that elimination that these funds will have on technology education in California. Currently, the House and Senate have recommended funding EETT at lower than last year’s level, with the House version significantly lower. This issue will be considered in conference committee in the next few days, so your immediate action is needed!
