This year's theme is "Sharing the Summit" and represents the goal of student achievement through collaboration and communication.

We are also actively seeking presentations support the new 2006 science textbook adoptions. If you have resources for enhancing the new science textbook adoptions through technology tools and resources - WE WANT YOU! All lead presenters receive a complimentary registration to the CUE Conference.

CUE has recently joined the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL) as an associate member. We are proud to partner with this organization as California moves forward with online learning as a reality. Southern California/Western Regional Conference
& Professional Development Symposium

October 11, 2006 in Los Angeles, California

School leaders will have a rare opportunity to gather insights and expertise at an e-learning conference being hosted by the NACOL and Pepperdine University at their LAX Campus in partnership with the University of California College Preparatory program.  The conference agenda was developed by an independent, regional advisory board of K-12 school districts and education leaders, including CUE.

You will learn from program experts in online learning about starting and running online programs, instruction, course quality, funding, policy, emerging technologies and promising practices in an intense 1-day format.  Network and make contacts in sessions and over lunch. This regional conference and professional development symposium highlights best practices and research in online learning and features leaders across the nation coming together at this regional event in Los Angeles.   Hear directly from students about their experiences taking online courses in high school.
