A nonprofit educational corporation founded in 1978, CUE's goal is to inspire innovative learners in all disciplines from preschool through college. With an active current membership of thousands of educational professionals, CUE supports many regional affiliates and Learning Networks. CUE conferences are California’s premier educational technology events.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Educators, technology coordinators, TOSAs, administrators, and those who are looking to see how technology can support student achievement. Many sessions and vendors (partners) will be of special value to those involved in Title I, School Improvement Program, Data and Assessment, Future Ready, English Language Development (ELD), Special Needs, and GATE. Hundreds of teachers, administrators, students, parents, and other professionals will attend the two-day conference.
Concurrent sessions are 60-min presentations (or 90-min Build-a-Lesson) that address all areas of the curriculum and appeal to a variety of educators. Sessions may be given by a single speaker, team or panel who can address the needs of the novice user of educational technology as well as the more experienced professional.
Interested in submitting a session? Check out our speakers page for deadlines and where to submit.
Build-a-Lesson sessions are 90-minute guided hands-on concurrent sessions that address all areas of the curriculum and appeal to a variety of teachers. Sessions may be led by a single speaker, team or panel who can address the needs of the novice user of educational technology as well as the more experienced professional. The objective of these sessions is for participants to leave with a learning activity for use with their staff and students.
These quick, 20-minute presentations focus on emerging and existing innovations to enhance learning, productivity, or understanding. They should be noncommercial, brief, and focus on one or two tips, techniques, or resources.
We will be offering a few all-day workshops to complement your concurrent sessions. For more information, please click here.
Keynote speakers present each day at the conference. Keynotes are sought from both inside and outside California and bring a national perspective to CUE.
The CUE Student-Powered Showcase (SPS) invites attendees to actively participate with students in creating, problem-solving and learning. Attendees may collaborate with students on a robotics or 3D printing project, or they may get down on the floor to figure out how a robot works. Since 2001, the showcase has featured student technology integrated projects that aligned with the CA state standards. It is organized by a Task Force of innovative CUE members and produced in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education. More information at www.cue.org/showcase. Get interactive with students on Saturday creating and learning together!
