CUE provides leadership and support to advance student achievement in the educational technology community.
What we do:
Support thousands of members worldwide by providing benefits.
Supporting a network of geographically-defined affiliates in California and Nevada. Affiliates provide CUE members with local year-round support through meetings, grants, events and mini-conferences.
Operating seven Special Interest Groups: Administrators, eLearning, Higher Education, Independent Schools, Library Media Educators, Technology Coordinators and Video in the Classroom.
Maintaining staff and operating programs on an annually-audited budget principally derived from its membership and events. CUE's operations are not dependent upon support from public or private funding.
Maintaining an active advocacy program. Sponsor of the SB 1510 and the Digital High School Initiative. Most recently, CUE has sponsored both SB 1006 and SJR8 (Chapter 95) EETT Restoration Resolution. Both of these passed the State Legislature.
Planning and presenting the CUE Conference each year, the oldest (over 25 years) and largest Educational Technology conference in California.
Annually recognizing its members' contributions to CUE with its Gold Disk.
Recognizing outstanding education technology leaders with its Platinum Disk.
Recognizing community leadership with its Technology in Learning Leadership and Outstanding Teacher Awards and other awards programs.
