Walnut Creek, Calif., January 16, 2014 -- Computer-Using Educators (CUE) Inc. is excited to announce that Danielle Forst will be joining CUE as a Program Specialist for its Professional Learning programs. Danielle’s hiring is in response to the increase in demand for CUE’s educational technology services.
“I am excited to have Danielle join our team. Her unique set of skills will help expand the opportunities we can bring to educators,” said Danny Silva, CUE’s Professional Learning Coordinator. “Danielle will be able to help manage projects as well as to provide support that will keep our system running smoothly and effectively.”
Among CUE’s current professional development offerings are the Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate, Rock Star Teacher Camps, and Google Teacher Academies, as well as Common Sense Media and other workshops that address what teachers and administrators need in schools today. In addition, CUE is actively involved in non-event-based curation and development projects such as evaluating YouTube videos and other educational resources and aligning them to Common Core standards as well as developing certification materials for Google, Leading Edge Certification and others. Ms. Forst will assist with and help manage many of these projects.
“Professional development for teachers should focus on student motivation and learning and should be designed to inspire creativity while providing practical tools for ed tech integration,” said Forst, whose new role begins today, January 16.
