CUE Selects Doug Robertson as Blog Editor and Social Media Champion

CUE is excited to announce that Doug Robertson, aka “The Weird Teacher,” will be joining CUE as its Social Media Champion and Blog Editor.

Robertson will be responsible for writing, soliciting and editing content for CUE, including the CUE Blog, social media assets, its Internet TV Show -- the Infinite Thinking Machine (ITM), and the “CUEtube” video channel. He also will work with the CEO, CUE Communications Committee, and the Director of Marketing on social media platforms, as well as future distribution channels with the goal being integrating all of CUE’s published content.

“I am thrilled that Doug has joined the team and look forward to the voices he brings into the conversation,” said Mike Lawrence, CUE’s CEO.

Robertson is best known for his books He’s The Weird Teacher, THE Teaching Text (You’re Welcome) and for The Weird Teacher's Classcast, a semi-regular YouTube series that deals with various educational topics. He is a frequent presenter at education conferences including ISTE, Southern Oregon EdTech Summit, and CUE Rock Star camps.

“I'm very excited to be the new @cueinc blog editor. Mine shall be a benevolent reign...mostly,” said Robertson, who will begin his new position in July. For more on Doug Robertson, please visit his website hestheweirdteacher.blogspot.com, follow him on twitter @TheWeirdTeacher, and look for his curation of blog.cue.org and everywhere CUE’s mission takes him.
