Walnut Creek, Calif., August 5, 2013 -- Computer-Using Educators (CUE) Inc. is excited to announce that Juli Kimbley will be joining CUE as a Program Specialist for its professional development programs. This expansion is in response to the recent increase in demand for CUE’s educational technology services.
“I am thrilled that Juli can join the team. She will be an asset to our rapidly growing program as we continue to find new and innovative opportunities for educators,” said Danny Silva, CUE’s Professional Learning Coordinator. “Juli will be able to manage projects as well as to provide project support that will keep our system running smoothly and effectively.”
In conjunction with Mrs. Kimbley joining the team, the CUE professional development program will be renamed “Professional Learning." This renaming reflects the expanded diversity of courses, workshops and resources CUE now offers to the educational community. Among its offerings, CUE produces the Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate, Rock Star Teacher Tech Camps, Google Teacher Academies, Common Sense Media and other workshops that are timely and relevant to what teachers and administrators need in the classroom today. In addition, CUE is actively involved in non-event-based curation and development projects such as evaluating YouTube videos and other educational resources and aligning them to Common Core standards as well as developing certification materials for Google, Leading Edge Certification and others. Mrs. Kimbley will assist and help manage many of these projects.
“I look forward to bringing my experience and skills to this position,” said Mrs. Kimbley, who began her new job on July 19. For more on Juli Kimbley, please visit her website at www.about.me/julikimbley.
