Nomination Information
The call for Board of Directors nominations is open August through December of each year. All nomination materials must be received by CUE by December 15 in order to be considered for candidacy in the election. All submitted nominations are then reviewed by the Nominations Committee and candidates are selected. An online ballot will be made available to all current members from April 1 through the last Tuesday in April. Election results are announced in the Summer issue of OnCUE. Download CUE Board Nomination Calendar.
The nomination process is simple. CUE members can be nominated in either of two ways:
- By your affiliate (a letter of nomination is required from your CUE affiliate's President).
- By five current members of CUE (each must write a separate letter of nomination).
- A "letter of intent" which indicates a willingness to serve;
- A 250-word statement which supports your candidacy (this statement will be used in the ballot sent to members);
- A 50-100 word bio.
- A digital print quality color photograph (hi-res digital version required).
