It is with great enthusiasm that I have accepted the nomination from the San Diego CUE affiliation to serve on the board of directors for the CUE organization.  Since the earliest days of the organization (circa 1983) I have participated in numerous CUE conferences and activities. Over the last few decades I have seen CUE grow and develop into the state's most significant mentor and professional development organization for technology-using educators. With an emphasis on the fundamental principles of the group, CUE's leadership helps to guide classroom teachers and all educators in achieving technology integration and implementation. I welcome the opportunity to further facilitate and contribute to the future of these activities.



With my experience in classroom teaching, my personal design and development of many technologies over the past 3 decades, coupled with a strong dedication to the meaningful use of technology in education, I believe that I can make a positive contribution to the future success of CUE for the upcoming 3-year term of office. I have a particular interest in helping CUE continue its tradition of encouraging creativity and individual performance in students, using technology to enhance the classroom experience, and the achievement of teachers' educational objectives.



These coming years will see significant changes in how technology is deployed and used in every classroom as well as in the daily lives of students.  CUE continues to be a trusted advocate for the responsible and effective use of technologies. I look forward to being able to support the CUE organization in these endeavors.
